Little king update.. a month plus
It has been a more than a month... Ryan is 1 mth and 11 days old today.. Mummy and papa goh are getting use to life with him... Here are some updates..
Ryan going botak
As Ryan is shedding his hair, we decided to shave off his first lock of hair before his full month and make it to Baby Hair Brush for him as keepsake.. here is some photos..

Ryan's first month celebration
We bought Ryan up to Papa goh's granny's place to pray to Ryan's great grandfather.. Then we had a celebration at our humble home with the blessing of many friends and relatives.. It is also Ryan's first encounter with so many visitors and he is the main attraction.. haha.. We push out his cot to the living room so that he can lie there and visitors can peek at him.. but it didnt work well coz everyone is excited to carry him abt.. He seems to know that he is the star of the day and didnt really sleep much.. So he is also busy entertaining all the uncles and aunties.. :) So sorry mummy goh was so busy that day that we forgotten to take photos!!!
Ryan back at home
We brought Ryan back home after mummy goh's confinement... Both Ryan and mummy has been staying at granny place for a month since Ryan's birth.. Ryan has been back home for almost 10 days.. Everynight after Papa goh's finishes work, he will pick us up Sometime he is still not used to being at home.. he always look around and will cry sometime coz he feel insecure at a unfamilar place.. but things are getting better.. he cry lesser and is getting use to his own home.. :)
Ryan's first examination and injection
On 16 Apr, We bought Ryan to the polyclinic for his first examination.. Mummy Goh book the earliest appointment 8am.. We arrived at Bt Batok Polyclinic on time and we registered and went to wait for our turn for his Injection.. Ryan was sleeping when we were waiting for our turn... We were a little worried if he would become cranky during the injection and examination...
When we enter the immunisation room, the nurse explain the immusation program at polyclinic.. Then we proceed to do his physical examination.. When we place Ryan down to take his weight and height measurement he was still ok.. didnt make any fuss.. With his height and weight taken, the nurses tell us that Ryan is growing slightly below average but tell us not to worry as he is still young and he is putting on weight.. just continue feeding and will monitor his growth again at the next visit.. Now Ryan weigh 3.9kg and is 53cm tall... Hopefully he will grow faster and catch up with the average mark..
Then the nurse proceed to prepare for his Hep B immunisation... the nurse instructed mummy Goh on the way to hold Ryan down during the jab.. Mummy begin to worry that Ryan will start his loud alarming cry.. When mummy goh followed the nurse instruction to hold Ryan down, mummy goh sense that Ryan can sense that he is taking his injection.. Ryan figit slightly.. then mummy goh hold him more tightly.. once the nurse administer the injection, Ryan give a loud cry but luckily he calm down very fast after we hug him tightly to comfort him... Next visit for immunisation will be in Apr.. hopefully Ryan will not be too cranky for the injection..
Ryan first shopping trip
Mummy goh together with Ryan's 姨姨 and Grandma brought Ryan out to buy his pram.. Papa and mummy goh decided on buying combi coz it is easier to handle and relatively light.. Finally Ryan is out to see the world!! haha.. Mummy goh brought him out using a baby sling and he was happy settling down in it.. think it is consider cosy and like in the womb.. so he felt safe and sleep all the way in the sling..
We bought the pram using the vouchers from mummy goh's colleagues.. :) once we take Ryan out from the sling into the pram, he cried loudly... Guess we took him out from his comfort zone... We carry him up and comfort him and slowly introduce him to the pram again and make him warm by covering him in blanket.. then he felt safer and didnt reject the pram.. thruout the rest of the shopping trip, he was happy in the pram and was busy looking around.. after a while, guess he is tired and doze off in the pram.. then when we were having dinner he woke up again and needed to be carried and comfort him to sleep again.. Well it was consider relatively a good experience bringing him out for the first time..
